This drop-dead gorgeous Japanese sort is delicious, too! Very thin skin is non-glossy dark purple to nearly black. Fruits are round, and frequently exceed a pound in weight. Tolerates cooler conditions than many eggplant varieties. A traditional “kyo yasai” or Kyoto vegetable, originating in the Kamo region. Note: This item is grown to order only! Single
