Saturday, March 28, 2026
10:00am - 12:30pm · Carriage Barn · $40 per member | $45 per nonmember

Join us for a creative morning at the farm to learn the ancient craft of Ukrainian egg decorating! Made using a wax batik method, Pysanky is a form of folk art that incorporates different symbols and shapes that are brightly and intricately colored. In Ukraine, pysanky is an important art form that dates back centuries. Covered in stunning motifs often taken from Slavic folk art, you'll also find these decorated eggs in many parts of Eastern Europe.

Decorate eggs in a traditional design or create your own while catching up with friends and neighbors. A small selection of beverages and snacks will be available to nibble on for this late morning class.

Please note, open flame is used in this craft. Children must be at least 12 years old and accompanied by an adult.

Registration opens on February 19 for members, and February 26 for nonmembers. Registration is limited - sign up today!
