Dave and Cindy Waters have been supporters of Ambler Farm since their daughter Rachel first became an Apprentice in fifth grade. She continued to volunteer throughout high school, later returned as a summer camp counselor, and recently chose the farm as the place to celebrate her engagement. Her experiences here sparked Dave and Cindy’s own involvement, which has since grown into a family tradition of service.
In 2018, Dave offered his support when Ambler Farm sought approval from the Planning and Zoning Committee to expand event opportunities, and he soon after joined the Friends of Ambler Farm Board. Since then, he has provided steady guidance and expertise, helping the farm navigate important legal matters. Cindy has been a consistent presence in the Agriculture Department, contributing her time to both the Farmers’ Market and Farmstand teams, helping connect neighbors and visitors with fresh, seasonal produce.
Even while balancing full-time careers and parenting, Dave and Cindy have made time for Ambler Farm. Their steady commitment—along with Rachel’s journey from apprentice to counselor—reflects their belief in the farm’s mission and in the value of building a strong, connected community.
We are grateful to the Waters for the many years they have given in service, support, and kindness. Their dedication has made a lasting difference at Ambler Farm and beyond.
