Businesses Can Support Ambler Farm + Earn Tax Credits

Friends of Ambler Farm is one of ten Wilton nonprofits that has been approved to participate in the Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program, making it eligible to receive donations from businesses in exchange for state tax credits. Businesses may receive tax credits equal to 100% of donations for qualifying energy-conservation projects and 60% for eligible community service, education, job training and other programs.

Friends of Ambler Farm’s Nutrition Program, in the amount $12,700, was approved by the State of Connecticut and is now seeking support by businesses.

Food insecurity is something we address directly at Ambler Farm, as growers of food. Over a decade ago, we launched the Nutrition Program, partnering with Wilton Social Services, to distribute vouchers that qualified families may use at our bi-weekly farm stands. We’ve found that giving people the agency to choose their own food significantly increases participation — a lesson in dignity and access. Your support of this important program would have a great impact on those in our local community who are the most in need.

Form NAA‑02 must be electronically submitted by businesses to the CT State Department of Revenue Services (DRS) no later than Thursday, October 1, 2026.
