As many of you may know, Stacey Valimont transitioned out of her role as Director of Programming, on Friday, September 1st. Stacey joined us in September of 2020 and has led our youth programming including our summer camp. She has been instrumental in the ongoing success of our Apprentice Program and Summer Camp among our many other educational programs, field and scout trips, and birthday parties. Stacey’s innovative spirit led to the creation and successful execution of new initiatives such as My Sprout + Me and our Junior Apprentice Programs. We are thankful for her contributions and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome Kevin Meehan back as our new Program Director. Many of you already know Kevin. During his 13-year tenure at the Farm, he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing all our core programs, including the Apprentice Program and Summer Camp. His influence is also deeply ingrained in our program area, as he designed and constructed the gardens and animal enclosures one by one with apprentices.
