Volunteer Spotlight

Patti Temple

As we begin celebrating our 20th Anniversary, we’re excited to honor our incredible volunteers whose dedication has shaped every corner of Ambler Farm. Among these remarkable individuals, we are proud to recognize one of Ambler Farm’s most dedicated and passionate volunteers: Patti Temple, Board President of Friends of Ambler Farm. Patti has been a driving force behind many of our recent accomplishments, approaching each opportunity with boundless energy, thoughtfulness, and a deep commitment to the Farm’s mission. From creatively overhauling our merchandise displays to tackling behind-the-scenes logistics, Patti has brought a fresh eye and organizational rigor to areas that needed attention.

Whether she’s greeting guests at events, supporting our Colonial Programs, or lending a hand during the bustling Fright Nights, Patti’s presence is felt—and appreciated—everywhere. Her creative signage and displays communicating the need for Town support in finishing the two farmhouses have been incredibly visible and educational for visitors.

Perhaps most impactful has been Patti’s leadership on complex Town matters. With her prior experience on the Miller-Driscoll and Police Station committees, Patti has brought experience navigating Town projects and a fresh perspective to the Board of Directors. Her deep dives into historical context, unwavering attention to detail, and passion for transparency have helped push critical projects forward.

Working closely with our Executive Director, Ashley Kineon, Patti has played a central role in clarifying and advocating for the important relationship between Friends of Ambler Farm and the Town of Wilton. Her tireless efforts, particularly in our joint efforts to finalize a long-anticipated lease agreement with the Town, have required countless hours, steady resolve, and strategic thinking. On behalf of the Staff, the Board, and the greater Wilton community, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Patti Temple for her extraordinary contributions.
